Status Distinguishes if a CSP plant is operational or under construction
Capacity_MW Nominal capacity of the turbine in MW
Expected_generation_GWh_per_yr Expected yearly power output GWh per year
Technology Distinguishes CSP technologies: trough, tower, dish, and fresnel
Year_construction_start Indicates the year when construction started
Year_operational Indicates the year of the first power output
State_highest_administrative_level Geographical description of the location where the CSP plant is located. Member State or region.
Province_County_medium_administrative_level Geographical description of the location where the CSP plant is located. Community or lower administrativ level
City_lowest_administrative_level Geographical description of the location where the CSP plant is located
Location_coordinates Location in longitude and latitude, to locate CSP plant on satellite data
DNI_kWh_per_m2_per_yr Direct normal irradiance (DNI) in kWh/m²/year, indicates the solar resource
Total_cost_million_currency_non_deflated Construction cost in million local currency, non-deflated
Cost_currency Indicates the currency used for total cost
Currency_year Indicates the year of the financial closure of the project, or construction begin if no data was found. This is used for deflation and currency conversion (exchange rate currency-USD as 31 December of the Currency Year)
Total_cost_million_USD2020 Project cost deflated to USD 2020 using world bank deflators and currency conversion
Specific_cost_USD2020_per_kW Specific cost of the CSP plant per kilowatt deflated to USD 2020
LCOE_5_25_USD2020_per_kWh Levelised cost of electricity with 5% weighted average cost of capital and a 25 year payback period, capacity dependent O&M (1.5% of investment cost per year), deflated from Year_operational using the Worldbank's GDP deflator; if station under development or construction then not deflated (assumed cost year 2020)
Remuneration_currency_per_kWh Indicates the level of support(e.g. FIT or PPA) in currency per kWh, local currency in the year of first feed-in
Support_currency Indicates the currency used for support payments
Cost_year_remuneration Indicates the first year of payment of the support, or of grid connection (if no support)
Remuneration_USD2020_per_kWh_deflated Remuneration USD2020/kWh, deflated from Cost_year_remuneration using the Worldbank's GDP deflator; if station under development or construction then not deflated (assumed cost year 2020)
PPA_or_support_duration_yr Indicates the duration of PPA or feed-in tariff

HTF_medium_or_product Indicates the chemistry used to transport heat from the solar collector to heat storage or turbine
HTF_category Four categories of HTFs: air, water, salt, thermal or organic oils
Steam_turbine_manufacturer Company delivering the steam turbine to the plant
